Mia Thermopolis is a 15-year-old privat school sophomore who lives with her mother Helen Thermopolis and her cat, Fat Louie, in renovated San Francisco firehouse. Mia is an average student and extremely unpopular. She is seemingly invisible to her crush, Josh Bryant and his cheerleader girlfriend Lana Thomas. Mia, however, has one best friend, Lilly Moscovitz as well as Lilly brother Michael.

A few weeks before Mia's 16th birthday, Mia learns her paternal grandmother is visiting from Genovia, a small European kingdom. Mia meets her grandmother, Queen Clarisse Renaldi, at the Genovia consulate for the first time in her life. Queen Clarisse explains that the reason she wanted to see her was because of a "life-changing" problem. Mia learns that her father was Crown Prince of Genovia and, due to his recent death, she is nownext and sole heir to the Genovia throne. She is shocked to learn that she is in fact a princess and runs away, rejecting the notion.

Queen Clarisse visit Mia and Helen and explains that if Mia refuses the throne, Genovia will be without a ruler. She also explains that Mia needs to be presented as their princess at the upcoming Genovia State Dinner. Helen convinces Mia to attend "princess lessons" with the Queen, who tells Mia need not have to make her full decision until the annual Genovian Independence Day ball. The Queen gives Mia a limousine to use as well as her own bodyguard, Joe, the Queen's head of security.

Mia begins seeing her grandmother everyday after school for the lessons, which include table manners, dancing, and personal presentation. Mia's frequent absence begins to put Lilly on-edge, and after Mia receives a makeover from Italian  hairdresser Paulo, Lilly confronts her and accuses her of trying to be like popular girls. Mia breaks down and tells Lilly everything, and Mia makes Lilly promise not to tell anyone (including Michael) that she is a princess to avoid a frenzy with the press. 

The San Francisco Chronicle how ever learns that Mia is the Genovian Crown Princess after Paulo breaks his confidentiality agreement. Althoung thoroughly annoyed, Queen Clarisse presses onward and prepares for the State Dinner. Mia attend, but publicly humiliates herself and her grandmother with her clumsiness.

While driving with her mother back to the Genovian consulate, Mia's car fails on a hill and rams into a cable car loaded with people. No one is hurt, but two nuns call the police man and trolley master to the "Genovian Order of the Rose" (a fictitious chivalric order). The men are so flattered that they drop any changes and give Queen Clarisse and Mia a ride back to the consulate in a police car.

Josh Bryant, the popular boy Mia has a crush on, asks her to go with him to the school's annual beach party. She agrees, but Michael and Lilly are both hurt that she blew them off. The beach party spirals out of control when the media learns of Mia's presence. Josh uses her to get his fifteen minutes of fame by publicly kissing Mia, after which Lana and two popular girls trick Mia into undressing in a tent. They remove the tent as she is semi-nude and call the paparazzi. Mia's gym coach shoos off the paparazzi and takes Mia home. Later that night, Mia cries in her mother's arms.

The unflattering photos wind up on tabloid covers the following day and Queen Clarisse chides her granddaughter. Joe later reminds Queen Clarisse that although Mia is a princess, she is still a teenager and her granddaughter. To rescue her friendships with Lilly and Michael, Mia apologizes and invites them to the Genovian Independence Day Ball. Mia publicly humiliates Lana by smearing ice cream on her cheerleader dress at school in front of students and calling her a jerk.

Terrified knowing that she must personally and publicly announce her decision, Mia plans to run away. She is stopped when she receives a letter from her father written before his death. Touched by his words, she changes her mind and makes her way to the ball. Her car breaks down but she is taken by Joe, who arrives with a limousine (having suspected her plans to run away).


When they arrive, Mia voices her acceptance of the Genovian throne. She shares her first dance with Michael, who then takes her outside to the consulate's garden where they kiss. Clarisse and Joe are seen holding hands, signifying the start of a relationship. The last scene shows Mia on the plane with Joe and her cat, whose name is Fat louie. Mia is writing in her diary, explaining that she is moving with her mother to Genovia, and that Lily and Michael will visit her during summer holiday.When Mia looks out of the plane's window, Joe welcomes her to Genovia as she sees the beautiful royal palace and landscape below.

Taking Five Synopsis...

Devon Thompson (Alona Tal) and Gabby Davis (Daniella Monet) are the ultimate fans of the band 5 Leo Rise ( The Click Five ). When energy drink shift sponsors a free 5 Leo Rise concert for the high school that collects the most bottle labels, Devon and Gabby deliver with a frenzy that only star-struck fans can. When the labels are destroyed in an accidental fire caused by Devon when she was holding a lit sparkler, dreams of the concert are dashed not only for Gabby and Devon, but also for their entire school, the two friends take matters of delivering the band into their own hands. They decide to kidnap the band with the help of Lincoln ( Marcus T. Paulk ) and Pete ( Jake Koeppl ). They manage to kidnap four members of 5 Leo Rise and they let go one, but the other one agrees to play at their school. Ritchie ( Eric Dill ) is not up for it, so they decide to throw eggs at him and get Devon to dress up as the Velvet Raven ( Ritchie's favorite comic book character ) to convince Ritchie to play. He finally confesses that he lip syncs because he has stage fright. Gabby comes up with an idea to help him sing in front of a crowd by getting them to dress up in really funny costumes. He does not succed because of Lincoln's actions and storms off to Devon's basement. He starts playing the song on the guitar and sings as well, but he doesn't know Devon is standing there. He plucks up the courage to sing in front of Devon and then kisses her when suddenly Lincoln and Gabby walk in to tell Devon that  they are in big trouble and then Gabby storms off. Lincoln kidnaps Ritchie because he kissed Devon. Gabby decides to get her stuff and leave, but she gets even with Devon by kissing Mason. Devon makes Lincoln get Ritchie back and then they decide to play at the school. Gabby stands up to Kira ( Kate Albrecht ) and the whole school is impressed. The band and Devon turn up at the school and they play for them. Ritchie manages to sing in front of a crowd proudly. The girls are happy and don't know what to do when the concert is all over. Devon's sister, Danielle ( Christy Carlson Romano ), runs off with Scooter and the rest of the band.

Little Secrets Synopsis

Emily Lindstrom ( Evan Rachel Wood ), an aspiring 14-year-old violinist, spends her summer practicing for an audition to get into the Inter Mountain Youth Symphony Orchestra ( Salt Lake City, Utah ) while her two best friends, Laurel and Jenny, go off to camp. She also runs a secret-keeping business, in which other children give her fifty cents to tell her a secret, which she promises to keep, this is a talent that she is normally very good at. Meanwhile, her parents are expecting another child and seem to care more about it than Emily.

New neighbors move in next door, including Philip ( Michael Angarano ). During the move, he accidentally breaks a valued chess piece and is caught by Emily as he attempts to bury it in the front garden. He pays her fifty cents to keep his deed a secret, and ti hide the piece in her treasure trunk ( along with other broken property from her other clients, in paper bags labeled with their names ). 

When Philip decides to join Emily in an afternoon tea session using her family's expensive china, they accidentally break two of the teacups. Emily is faced with the challenge of keeping her own secret and having someone else know about it. Meanwhile, as Philip begins falling for her, his brother David ( David Gallagher ) enters the picture. He had been at tennis camp, but was sent back home because he allegedly got drunk and was involved in a car accident. Philip tells her this family secret in exchange that she tells him a secret about her greetings with her friend. She starts getting upset, and says that a person who drinks and drives will do it again, before storming off. She then starts to lose her secret-keeping talent as she falls for David. He also begins falling for her, which make Philip jealous.

During her mother's baby shower, David tries to talk to Emily, and she reveals that she knows how he was expelled from tennis camp. After, she goes to get her violinfrom the roof and tumbles to the ground, necessitating a trip to the hospital. While she is there, het mother gives birth to her sister Grace. Everyone is by Emily's hospital bed except David, who is eavesdroppingbehind the curtain. Her friends ask if her sister looks like she did when she was a baby, and she reveals that she adopted. Her birth parents were killed while driving in a car when she was 10 months old after being struck by a drunk driver, and she considers it a miracle that she lived. The driver spent one year in prison and barely a month after being released, crashed into someone else's car and killed himself. Upon hearing this, David feels very guilty and understands why she despises him so much. After she released from the hospital, she and Philip return all of the paper bags to her clients. To thank him, she kisses him on the cheek. Then David appears, and she kisses him on the lips.

From Prada to Nada Synopsis...

Pada tau film From Prada to Nada gak nih? menurut aku sih keren film nyaa, awal nya sih emang nyesek tapi  happy ending kok :'D waktu itu aku pernah ceritain sinopsis film nya ke temen-temen, tapi mungkin mereka sudah lupa, jadi aku post in aja deh, kalian bisa baca okee? ;)

The films opens with Nora studying and Mary shopping. They head to their home, Casa Bonita, For their father's birthday. While dancing with their father, he falls and dies.

                                    

At the funeral they meet Gabe Dominguez, a half brother who resulted from an affair their father had years ago. At the reading of their father's will, they discover that they are bankrupt. Nora and Mary sell their house to Gabe, who lets them live with he and his wife, Olivia. They meet Olivia's brother, Edward, when he visits for lunch, Oloivia tells the sisters that they must move out of the house. Before they leave, their maid gives Nora a box left by their father.

The two sisters go to East L.A. to leave with their maternal aunt, Aurelia, where they are introduced to Bruno, their aunt's neighbor. Later, Nora opens the box form her father and finds letters addressed to Gabe. Nora decides to quit law school and get job and tells Mary to finish college. Their aunt sells Mary's car and Prada purse ('from Prada to nada'). Edward arrives and gives Mary and Nora stuff from their old home, offering Nora a job in his law office - which she declines. Nora finds a job on her own, and on the bus ride to work she meets a woman who has been fired from her job as a maid. When Nora arrives at her new job she learns that her boss is Edward. Nora and Edward work together on the case for the cleaning ladies, wining a judgment when they discover that there has been a fraud with their payroll.

Mary returns to collage, where she meets and flirts with teaching assistant Rodrigo. She gets a ride home from him, directing him to her childhood mansion rather than her aunt's house in East L.A. They later share a kiss over lunch, later still she admits that she no longer lives in the mansion, suggesting to Rodrigo that he buy her old house. Mary visit's Bruno house and make a deal that, if Bruno can make the aunt's backyard look good for a party dedicated to Mexican Independence Day, he can have a dance with Mary. On the day of the party, Bruno watches how Mary dance with Rodrigo. Bruni later declines Mary's offer of a dance to complete the decoration agreement. Edward later arrives at the party, finding Nora drunk on tequila. They go into the kitchen where they kiss. After that, Nora feels bad because she is not supposed to act like that and tells Edward that she needs to focus on her career. 

The next day Nora finds out she has received a promotion, while Mary is shown to have slept with Rodrigo. When Rodrigo drops Mary at her aunt's home in the morning he tells her he is going to Mexico for a few weeks. When Nora asks Mary if loves Rodrigo, Mary tells her that she just want to go back home and that Rodrigo can make that happen, for which Nora calls her a whore. Mary and Nora start to ignore each other. Nora quits Edward's law firm and opens a free legal service from her aunt's home.

The sisters receive an invitation from Olivia to attend Edward's engagement party at their former home. When they arrive at the party they are welcomed lovingly by their former house staff. Mary and Gabe go their father's office - the one part of the house that Olivia has not remodelled - and Mary give Gabe the latters from their father's. Meanwhile, Nora tells Edward why she doesn't count on personal relationships. Mary sees Rodrigo at the party with another woman who turns out to be his wife. Rodrigo tells Mary that he did, indeed, take her recommendation to buy the house. Heartbroken, Mary leaves the party and tries to go home but has a traffic accident, sending her to the hospital in a wheelchair and neck brace. The next day, Mary goes to over to Bruno's house, where he is shown teaching kids how to paint. They admit their feeling for each other and share kiss. Edwards arrives and tells Nora that they bought a house and present her with the deed for co-sign and an engangement ring. The film ends with Nora and Edward's wedding and everybody celebrating.

Kenapa biskuit berlubang?

        Lubang yang terdapat pada biskuit kering ternyata memiliki suatu alasan, bukan hanya sekedar hiasan atau untuk memudahkan proses manufaktur, seperti yang banyak orang perkirakan. Tanpa lubang-lubang ini, biskuit kering tidak akan terpanggang dengan benar. Lubang ini memungkinkan uap panas untuk keluar selama proses pemanggangan. Hal ini akan membuat biskuit tetap datar, dan tidak mengembang naik sehingga lubang ini membantu agar biskuit kering tetap garing dan renyah. Berbeda pada biskuit manis biasa, mereka tidak memiliki lubang agar biskuit sedikit mengembang dan membuatnya terasa empuk.

Ketika biskuit kering dibuat, adonan diratakan membentuk lembaran datar. Lembaran-lembaran ini kemudian berjalan di bawah mekanisme yang mengandung pin-pin untuk menempatkan lubang-lubang pada adonan. Posisi dan jumlah lubang bervariasi tergantung pada ukuran dan bentuk biskuit keringnya. Lubang juga ditempatkan sedemikian rupa sehingga jumlah lubah tidak terlalu banyak dan posisi lubang tidak terlalu berdekatan. Karena jika lubang terlalu dekat atau jumlahnya terlalu banyak, adonan biskuit kering tersebut akan sangat kering dan keras, karena terlalu banyak uap yang keluar. Sebaliknya, jika lubang terlalu jauh atau jumlahnya terlalu sedikit, adonan akan mengembang sedikit membentuk gelembung kecil di permukaan biskuit.

Sejarah Biskuit Kering (Cracker)

Kata biskuit berasal dari bahasa latin "bis coctus" yang berarti "dipanggang dua kali", yang menunjukkan bagaimana kebanyakan jenis biskuit dibuat. Biskuit kering pertama dibuat pada tahun 1792 oleh John Pearson di Newburyport, Massachusetts, Amerika Serikat. Pearson sedang mencoba untuk membuat jenis biskuit yang dapat bertahan lebih lama dan awet daripada biskuit biasa. Dia akhirnya mencampurkan tepung dan air, memanggangnya, dan menyebut penemuannya sebagai "Roti Pilot Pearson". Biskuit ini kemudian menjadi dikenal sebagai "kue kering" atau "biskuit laut". Jenis biskuit ini menjadi sangat populer di pelaut karena dapat disimpan dalam waktu yang sangat lama.

Nama "cracker" sendiri berasal dari ketika Yosia Bent tidak sengaja membakar adonan yang sekarang kita sebut cracker pada suatu hari di tahun 1801, juga di Massachusetts. Ketika dibakar, adonan tersebut membuat suara berderak (crackling), dan akhirnya menginspirasi nama cracker. Bent juga merupakan orang yang memelopori biskuit kering ini sebagai makanan ringan, bukan hanya untuk persediaan makanan para pelaut. Para pesaingnya kemudian mengikuti langkahnya ini. Untuk membuat biskuit kering menjadi populer sebagai makanan ringan, ia memperbaiki cita rasanya agar terasa lebih lezat. Dia kemudian bereksperimen sampai akhirnya ia menciptakan biskuit soda, yang kemudian menjadi cikal bakal biskuit asin dan pada umumnya dianggap lebih enak daripada Roti Pilot Pearson. Pada tahun 1810, bisnis Bent ini menjadi sangat sukses dan akhirnya usahanya diakuisisi oleh National Biscuit Company (Nabisco).

Para ahli pernah menemukan permen purba di Mesir sekitar 3500 tahun yang lalu. Dan di tempat yang lain juga pernah ditemukan gumpalan madu kering yang diduga dijadikan permen oleh manusia purba pada saat itu. Kegemaran yang awalnya hanya iseng belaka ini kemudian mendorong bangsa Mesir, Arab, dan Cina kuno untuk membuat racikan manisan madu dengan berbagai macam rasa. Mulai dari rasa buah buahan sampai kacang kacangan. Perkembangan pembuatan permen ini juga di pengaruhi oleh kebiasaan makan coklat yang di populerkan suku Indian, Aztec, dan Maya.

1828

Permen coklat pertama didunia diciptakan oleh seorang Belanda,Conrad J. Van Houten yang memeras biji coklat yang dimasaknya yang kemudian dicampur gula hingga menjadikannya permen.

1869

Thomas Adams, seorang Amerika yang menciptakan permen dari bahan karet.Penemuannya tak sengaja karena awalnya ia ingin membuat mainan hingga ban sepeda namun percobaannya selalu gagal.Ketika ia memasukan karet kedalam mulutnya timbulah ide untuk menambahkan rasa di karet itu hingga terciptalah permen karet. 1871 temuannya itu dipatenkan.

Henry Nestle,seorang pembuat susu kental manis dan Daniel Peter, seorang pembuat coklat yang memadukan dua unsur ini menjadi satu dan mendirikan perusahaan coklat susu pertama didunia

1908

Lolly Pop, permen bertangkai ini diberinama oleh George Smith H, berdasarkan nama kuda balapnya. Tak banyak diketahui awal dari keberadaan permen lollipop ini. Nanum mesin pembuat permen Lolly Pop diciptakan oleh Samuel Born warga Amerika keturunan Rusia.

1912

Clarence Crene menciptakan permen mint, ia sendiri sebelumnya membuat permen coklat, namun karena permen coklat mudah meleleh pada saat musim panas akhirnya ia mencoba membuat permen dari bahan yang lain. Keberadaan permen mint itu sendiri sebenarnya sudah ada di daratan Eropa namun kebanyakan berbentuk persegi. Crene akhirnya mencoba membuat permen mint dengan bentuk yang lain yaitu bulat dan bolong ditengahnya. “Life saver” itulah nama awal permen ini disebut karena memang bentuknya mirip seperti pelampung atau ban menyelamat, dan sekarang permen ini lebih dikenal orang dengan sebutan permen polo.

One Direction's Louis Tomlinson

          Louis William Tomlinson, born Louis Troy Austin, 24 December 1991 (age 20), is from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. Born to mother Johannah Poulston and father Troy Austin, his parents split when he was young and he took on his stepfather Mark Tomlinson's name. He has five younger half-sisters, and two of them had roles as babies on television series Fat Friends, on which he would go along and serve as an extra. After Fat Friends, he attended an acting school in Barnsley. He had small parts in an ITV1 drama film If I Had You and BBC's Waterloo Road. He was a sixth form student at Hall Cross School, a state comprehensive school, and a former pupil of the Hayfield School. He revealed that he failed his first year of A levels at the Hayfield School. He ended up going back to Hall Cross and started A levels over again. He had a number of jobs, including at a Vue cinema and at Doncaster Rovers football stadium as a waiter in their hospitality suites.

As a student at Hall Cross, Tomlinson starred in several musical productions. Tomlinson revealed that landing the lead role of Danny Zuko in a high school musical production of Grease motivated him to audition for The X Factor. Tomlinson cites Robbie Williams as his biggest influence and idol. In an interview with Now Magazine, he stated: "I've always loved [Robbie]. He's just so cheeky, he can get away with anything. His performances are unbelievable." He also admires recording artist Ed Sheeran, describing him as "phenomenal."

Not long after The X Factor ended in 2010, Tomlinson faced criticism from first X Factor Winner Steve Brookstein in which Brookstein claimed Tomlinson wasn't a very good singer and couldn't believe he'd made it to the finals. However, Tomlinson received a lot of support from a number of celebrities and fans on twitter, with many claiming that Brookstein was just bitter and jealous due to failing to gain much success following his win in 2004.

Is known as "The Leader" but as Harry Styles stated "it was the only one left!" Styles is known as "The Flirt", Malik "The Vain One", Payne "The Smart One" and Horan "The Funny One".

One Direction were formed at the bootcamp stage of "The X Factor" (2004) in 2010 when the judges felt Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles were too good to throw away, but not interesting enough to make it as soloists. The decision to put the five boys in the group proved to be popular as they made it to The X Factor final and were the only band to be included on the 2011 X Factor Tour.

He is the oldest member of boy band One Direction.
